科研背景：

先后主持国家科技重大专项项目（“十三五”）任务2项、国家自然科学基金项目4项、“十二五”国家科技支撑计划子课题1项、“973”基础研究项目子课题1项、省部级项目4项，获新疆生产建设兵团科学技术进步贰等奖2项（省部级，排名第一和第三）。

自2015年以来，以第一作者或通讯作者在国际知名传染病杂志Clinical Infectious Diseases （IF 9.079，1篇）、Emerging Infectious Diseases (IF 6.883，2篇)、Transboundary and Emerging Diseases (IF 5.005，2篇)、Parasites & Vectors (IF 3.876，9篇)、Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases (IF 3.744，3篇)、BMC Infectious Diseases (IF 3.09，3篇)等发表国际高水平研究论文48篇（JCR 1区23篇，JCR 2区6篇，IF合计133）。

在媒介生物领域获得的基础性工作：

建立了新疆首个信息化媒介生物样本库，库容达13万余份；基于“DNA 条码”识别系统，建立了野鼠、旱獭、红狐、亚洲獾、猞猁、蝙蝠、蜱、蚤、蚊、蠓、虱、虱蝇等物种（共计67种）分子识别系统，并在长尾黄鼠、亚洲獾首次在中国发现和系统鉴定了凯瑟硬蜱，为中国确立的第123种蜱。

在布鲁氏菌、立克次体、鼠疫、绦虫领域的科学贡献：

①首次从边缘革蜱蜱卵中分离到布鲁氏菌，并证实布鲁氏菌还可通过“孕雌蜱-蜱卵-幼蜱”的传播途径（经卵传播）； 

② 在国际上首次证实羊种布鲁氏菌可以感染亚洲獾；

③ 分别在新疆的边境口岸、古尔班通古特沙漠和塔克拉玛干沙漠及绿洲地带新发现中国6种斑点热群立克次体核酸类型，包括康氏立克次体、马赛立克次体、艾氏立克次体、暂定名巴布瑞克立克次体、贝利立克次体、卢西塔尼亚立克次体；

 ④ 首次发现鼠疫耶尔森菌第86种基因型菌株（分离自灰旱獭、谢氏山蚤和草原革蜱），遗传进化分析表明：该菌株是新疆-哈萨克斯坦边境线以及帕米尔高原鼠疫耶尔森菌的祖先；

⑤ 对新疆不同县市细粒棘球蚴进行线粒体cox1单倍体进行溯源分析，发现新疆细粒棘球蚴G1基因型有5个分化群，伊犁地区的H5分化群最为古老，昌吉地区的H1是最新衍化的分化群；

⑥ 在新疆博尔通古特沙漠红狐、欧亚猞猁收集到绦虫287条，并完成6种绦虫成虫种或基因型的鉴定以及3种大沙鼠带绦虫基因型的形态和分子鉴定，发现1种带绦虫基因型存在“大沙鼠-红狐”的循环史。

在病毒学领域的科学贡献： 基于宏病毒测序,从蜱咬病人分离到新发现蜱传布尼亚病毒2个（电镜观察确认），并证明亚洲璃眼蜱是该病毒的潜在传播媒介，大沙鼠是该病毒的自然宿主之一。
